A very impressive William & Mary Lancashire Wainscot Chair, of very good colour and condition with untouched pegs and retaining all original parts apart from the seat, which despite looking good we believe to be an old replacment. The Chair has a nicely shaped and carved crest with lozange and roundels with further lozange to the panel. The arms are particulary bold and the Chair stands well on its original feet. It is a beautiful piece of early English furniture In very solid condition throughout.
