17th Century antique oak chair of wonderful colour, in very good original condition. The top rail shaped and carved with scrolls, the back with turned decoration above the panelled seat, sitting on turned front legs with shaped stretcher. There is a metal plate firmly fixed to the back that has obviously been there for many years to support an old crack in the top rail. The chair stands tall on the original turned feet, having lost no hight over the years.
