Fine 18th Century figured Mahogany Chest On Chest of fabulous colour, in good clean original condition. Retaining the original decorated handles and boldly shaped bracket feet. Having nicely shaped greek key dental to the cornice and clean original pine drawer linings. Circa 1760.
 
This design of decorated handle is said to be Chippendales favorite by Christopher Gilbert in his book on the subject. The handle features on many documented pieces from Chippendales workshop.
