Superb 18th Century George 2nd mahogany kneehole desk of Small proportions, lovely faded colour and patina.
 
The Desks condition is exceptional. Retaining original handles, locks and feet. The figured oak linings of the drawers and the carcass are extremely clean. The piece tips up to reveal the clean original bottom retaining all the original supporting blocks for the feet. The cabinet work is of the highest order in the true tradition of the English 18th century cabinet maker.
